Dopo essersi affermato come il premio più prestigioso riservato alla narrativa breve, Lama e trama conclude la sesta edizione con risultati sorprendenti. Dato il numero eccezionale delle opere in concorso, la giuria presieduta da Luigi Bernardi ha dovuto chiedere to postpone for one month to be able to award prizes. The final meeting will then take place on 28 and 29 November.
The contest proves once again growing and ever capable of supporting the discovery of new talent to the meeting with Italian writers of great importance. In addition, with this edition, and plot Lama has extended its partnership to the regional office of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Rai and major Italian Universities: In addition to the traditional short stories, this year will be awarded the best radio play and the best thesis or PhD on topics related to narrative genres of yellow, noir and mystery.
Like every year, will receive the lifetime achievement award to a author who has marked his work with the history of yellow and Italian noir. The prestigious award will go to Sergio Alan D. Altieri and will be awarded Friday, 28. The ceremony will begin at 21.00 with a meeting between the same Sergio Altieri, President Luigi Bernardi, and the writers of the 2008 jury and Giampiero Rigosi Alfredo Colitto. Antonio Paolacci intervene, writer and coordinator of the contest, while the actor Fabio Scaramucci read excerpts from the books of these authors.
The winners of the three sections will be awarded on Saturday 29 from 17.30. Luigi Bernardi take part in the ceremony and members of three juries: Alfredo Colitto and Giampiero Rigosi for section story, the director and actor Massimo Marisandra Calacione Somaglino section for radio play, prof. Renzo Cremante University of Pavia and Professor. John Guagnini University of Trieste for the section and doctoral dissertations. Cinzia Scaffidi Slow Food Association will award the usual special prize Lama (fork) and plot. The same maximum and Somaglino Marisandra Calacione read excerpts from the winning entries.
The meetings will be held at the foyer of the Teatro Verdi in Maniago, in Via Umberto I No. 53.
The evening of Saturday 29 will conclude with a hearty dinner at the Eurohotel Maniago, from 20.30 (for bookings: tel. 71 432 0427).
