November 28, Flag Day, the day 94 years ago, the Albanian people has made the event much anticipated by many centuries, the cry of independence. The hero of the People, Isamil Qemali, wise and supporter of the independence of Albania, has raised the red flag with the eagle with two heads in heroic Vlora.
The red-black flag, National inherited by the hero, the Prince of Krujë, Gjergj Kastriot Skenderbeu, has united the hearts of all Albanians with a common ideal of freedom of the Albanian people and the creation of an independent state. The nation symbolized by the flag, has warmed the hearts of the Albanians and gave them strength to face any enemy that might threaten it.
"United around the flag with only one desire and goal," we sing in our anthem.
The Nation and the Flag, symbol of the survival of the Albanian people for centuries, have inspired heroic acts and sacrifices required of the best sons of the Mother of Albania to defeat the Turks and the fight against the Nazi-Fascist occupation during the Second World War . The struggle for freedom did not stop after the proclamation of independence in 1912. Have awakened against the pressure and the injustices of the regime of King Zog, poverty and violations of workers' rights, conditions have occurred due to the misrule of the self-proclaimed king. The Albanian people have never knelt, with courage and determination has also fought against the denial of freedom and human rights during the repressive communist dictatorship of Enver Hoxha, which "in the name of the people" have persecuted, prosecuted and eventually eliminated thousands of people in a barbaric manner.
Today we remember with respect and we bow down in front of the National Flag. This memorable day is celebrated in Albania, Kosova, Macedonia, Montenegro and in all countries where the Albanian diaspora living fair. Yes, proud, because the Albanians living working with pride of his home and continue the tradition tend to cultivate a living language, culture, love of country and freedom, considering them as inalienable ideals.
The commemoration of Flag Day is not just a day of celebration and respect for the rebirth of the nation to the founders of the original Albanian State, for the fallen during the heroic war of national liberation, for the fallen of all the wars against the dictatorial regimes, but no doubt is also a day of reflection and assessment of current conditions in the country and our people. We really left behind the wars and struggles for independence?
The economic crisis and poverty are becoming stronger. Corruption has eroded the rule, the highest public institutions and even the media. The deceptive campaign promises of some politicians, abuse of power by using the state as an instrument of personal wealth at the expense of the people, the apathy and the failure of the legal system, corruption and inadequacy in the training system, abuse infinite state of the economy by the powerful has now turned into a routine with a basic "ethics" that ensures the success of only a few. The media are limited, hit, humiliated and criticized. All this happens in a government where the summit pyramid controls all the reins of the country. And 'no doubt an attempt to impose a system of dictatorship.
-Abuses of power to the people is when:
1. The opposition legitimate protest in a democratic way, but is attacked with false accusations by the government and is ostracized by the West. Developed countries turn a blind eye in front of the real risk of a birth of a dictatorial government and remain silent about the corruption that undermines the system and politicians.
2. Investigative journalist that public funds and corruption of the powerful politicians blacks is brutally attacked, journalists and government media rather than condemning the violence, criticizing the incident or, worse still justify the beating.
3. Some commentators call "mass" not to be taken into account, the peaceful and democratic popular demonstration against the corrupt government formed ministers under investigation.
4. Prime Minister Sali Berisha usurper, seized the parliament, a democratic institution, to launch its threat as a dictator, using foul language and inappropriate to offend the names of the individuals, embarrassing the entire Albanian people to the world, and his ministers and pro-government supporters applaud instead as it does with every dictator and boss.
5. Those ministers and deputies, the government finished with controversial elections, manipulators, usurpers of power, continue to deny transparency doubts about the elections leaving both devoid of electoral fraud and violence with the freedom of an elementary democratic people to have a legitimate government freely chosen.
6. Laws are created for the Prime Minister, his family and a small clan, looks like a pyramid hierarchical mafia-type (ad personam laws that remind us of someone here in Italy).
7. For a large part of the Albanian people lack basic necessities like water, electricity, health services, education, jobs, social services, safeguard an institution that lacks the most vulnerable, the only thing now is the growing corruption has reached appalling levels.
8. Trading of electoral votes are charged by looters taking advantage of the desperate need for survival in exchange for poor service and random goods.
9. The robbery was in the name of big projects never made and the suffering of the people's voice is not heard
10. The state kills people, directly or indirectly, the accusations made against the government but are suppressed or denigrated sometimes Machiavellian methods with administrative and sometimes legislative, that are imposed by powerful through corruption, this is when prosecutors and courts remain in silence because they probably finished the payroll.
11. The proclamations of the government, the behaviors of some corrupt media that support the prime minister, opinion flunky, do nothing but spread government propaganda with the aim to split and weaken the Albanian people.
But the people become aware day by day. He never humiliated or kneeling in front of any dictatorial regime, and neither before nor after the 90s. The stability of the Albanian people was and still is supported by many foreign countries who show sincere friends. This solid foundation of the Albanian people is reinforced by all international institutions, the West and many democratic organizations that oversee the development of democracy and human rights defenders.
The national consciousness of the Albanian people, the universal ideals for democracy and freedom, aspirations remain non-negotiable, it was the historical identity of the past and future in the great European family. "Shqiptaria" being Albanian, is a virtue of the national identity of a people who want to live in freedom and democracy, which has remained intact and above the separation of regional, religious, political or any other division that some want to create quite artificial.
why Flag Day is not just a day of commemoration but also very active for the stability and the fight, by any means democracy, against neo-dictatorship, against the usurpation of the state at the hands of organized crime and corruption, and for the rule of law, legality and freedom. Viva la
Flag Day!
Long live the Albanian people!
